The Border Terrier Club of America was founded in 1949 with the desire of the founders to protect the natural instincts and characteristics of the breed.

This commitment lives on in the club today.

The main objectives of the Border Terrier Club of America are the preservation and protection of the Border Terrier breed as described in the official breed standard.
