The Breed Book committee is currently preparing the proofs for the 2012 Breed Book and would really appreciate it if you would please fill out the
Owner Application form for those 2012 titles and send it in
If you have submitted a form for a particular dog in the past, go ahead and modify it for the 2012 titles but please note that who you need to send it to has changed. Here's the current info:

We especially need:
- Dog's call name
- Pedigree (3 generations)
- Health Clearances received in or before 2012, including DNA if known. (We need the health registration numbers, please, not the test results)
- Photograph! We love photographs! If you don't have a stacked photo, no big deal, just send us one of your dog doing what he or she does best
The Breed Books are an invaluable archive of Border Terriers and their achievements through multiple generations. A celebration of our dogs doing the things that Border Terriers love to do and do so well! Conformation show wins are an important part of the books but not the only thing that we honor in the breed books. It's about the performance titles too. Together they are an invaluable resource for those who truly care about our versatile breed.
The application form can be completed either
electronically or manually.
Completion: Please do a "save as" to save the form onto
your computer and type your information directly into the form. Do not forget to enter the year for which
you are submitting at the top of the form. Save a copy of
the form for your own records and email the completed form and an
electronic photograph to the email address noted at the top of the
- Electronic photographs should be in the .jpeg
- Identify the dog's name and year in the 'subject'
line of the email
Completion: Please print out the application page and
print your information directly on the page. Do
not forget to fill in the year for which you are submitting at the top
of the form. Return your completed page to the address
noted at the top of the application page.
- If you send an original photograph for scanning
by the Breed Book Committee, please include a self-addressed stamped
envelope so we can return your photograph to you
- Please include the following information on the
back of each original photograph submitted for scanning: Your name and
the registered name of the dog depicted in the photograph.
Please Note: The application form is requesting your
email information so the Breed Book Committee can easily communicate
with you regarding any questions that may arise while inputting your
dog's information. Email addresses will not be included in the Breed
Book edition when it is published.
You will have an opportunity to proof your dog's page
before the yearly edition is published.
The Breed Book Committee is working diligently to bring
the breed book editions up to date and we appreciate your assistance in
providing us with the information related to your dog's
